Key Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one video therapy sessions with clients, guiding them through therapeutic exercises aimed at improving their mental well-being. Facilitate an open and engaging dialogue, encouraging clients to explore and articulate their emotions and life experiences. Assist clients in identifying their personal goals and work collaboratively to create individualized treatment plans using a solution-focused approach. Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in response to their developing needs and circumstances. Provide crisis intervention and support as required, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment for clients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges. Our population often includes individuals dealing with anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. As an LMFT, you will play a crucial role in helping these clients achieve emotional resilience and improved coping mechanisms. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential. Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Must not hold a limited or provisional license, and there should be no disciplinary actions recorded against your license. Strong interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions. Ability to navigate technology effectively; proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and general computer applications is required. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a teletherapy setting is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with diverse populations and a range of treatment modalities is highly valued.
