Job Description

A rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to become the first dedicated FP&A hire within the company. This is a highly visible opportunity to partner directly with the CFO and Controller while helping build the financial planning and analysis function from the ground up.

The company has experienced significant growth over the past 18 months and is investing heavily in finance infrastructure, reporting, and strategic planning capabilities to support continued expansion.

What You'll Do

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple departments
• Develop detailed financial models, including scenario planning and three-statement models
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identify key trends, and provide actionable recommendations
• Partner directly with department leaders to improve financial accountability and planning
• Support strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and new business modeling
• Create reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools for executive leadership
• Work with imperfect and evolving data sets to develop meaningful business insights
• Leverage AI and modern analytical tools to improve efficiency and decision making
• Help establish scalable FP&A processes, reporting structures, and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• 2-4 years of FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, transaction advisory, investment banking, or related analytical experience
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Comfortable working independently with significant ownership and accountability
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner directly with business leaders
• Experience in smaller or high-growth organizations preferred
• Healthcare or services industry experience is a plus
• Experience utilizing AI tools as part of financial analysis is highly desirable

Compensation & Benefits

• $110,000 - $135,000 base salary
